Digital Tech Intentionality Consultation
My experience
Through both personal and professional observation, I have witnessed the profound sense of detachment and emotional strain that often accompanies our digital lives. It is distressing to see how chronic technology use contributes to rising loneliness, health concerns, and a decline in relational satisfaction—a cycle that leaves many feeling overwhelmed and helpless.
This impact extends to our youth. By age 13, most children are exposed to pornography, with 75% of males and 70% of females aged 13-17 having viewed such content (Barna Group). Yet, a perhaps more pervasive—and less discussed—issue is the breakdown of presence. Nearly half of teenagers (46%) report that their parents are at least sometimes distracted by their phones during conversation, a reality only 31% of parents acknowledge in themselves (Pew Research, 2023).
This misattunement is heartbreaking. The erosion of our cognitive presence and emotional connection in a digital world is a challenge we must face with both clarity and compassion.
As a mental health professional committed to the flourishing of our community, I have dedicated myself to understanding the profound impact digital habits have on our lives and relationships. Through prayerful reflection and research, I help clients navigate the complexities of modern tech culture, fostering the personal accountability and face-to-face connection essential for true healing. I am deeply encouraged to see God working through this movement to reclaim in-person community, helping us practice emotional regulation and find rest in His design for human connection.

Navigating difficult circumstances can be challenging and lonely. I specialize in depression, anxiety, difficult relationship patterns, attachment wounds, C/PTSD, and high risk coping skills.
I possess professional training in somatic experiencing, polyvagal techniques, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). My clinical focus involves supporting individuals committed to internal transformation, under the premise that profound emotional shifts facilitate sustainable behavioral modifications. As a licensed professional clinical counselor, I find that a holistic approach to treatment honors the person in front of me while encouraging lifestyle changes that can reduce symptoms and increase distress tolerance.
In addition to these core modalities, I have obtained specialized training in sexual wellness, digital technology addiction, mental health and nutrition, and Internal Family Systems (IFS). I often incorporate behavioral tools to help individuals stay grounded in reality, distinguishing between transactional and emotional or relational needs to foster long-term healing and resilience.

You are inherently valuable—worth more than anything in this world—and you are loved in the truest sense of the word, even if it doesn't always feel that way.
Growth often requires extra support. Together, we can find the specific resources and tools that work best for you.

Insurance companies often dictate the frequency, duration, and type of therapy permitted, while also mandating a formal diagnosis.
